I have been a Police Officer with the City of Concord for over 23 years. Within the police department I have held numerous positions. I have served as a Robbery/Homicide Investigator, Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and currently I am the Traffic Investigator, responsible for the investigating and reconstructing of major injury and fatal traffic collisions. During the course of my career I have worked within the city government in efforts to to provide true problem solving, joining police services with other city departments to erradicate problems and preserve quality of life in neighborhoods. I have also served as part of the county's Forensic Mental Health Team helping to provide services to the homeless and mentally ill through a truly multi-disciplined approach.

I have been very active in the Concord Police Association, serving on the Executive Board, as President and chairing the Political Action Committee.

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism. I used my training in this area to produce and host the Concord Police Department's crime prevention television program, "Street Smart."

I have three daughters Kayla, 23, Karrissa, 21, and Brittney, 18. I have three grandsons, twins Trenton and William 7 years old, and T.J. who is 2.
