As a member of the Town Council I will strive to: 1. Provide a balanced budget and bring heightened fiscal discipline and awareness to the Town Council. 2. Enforce the General Plans dictate to protect ridgelines from development and also enforce the provisions of MOSO and other land-use ordinances. 3. Arrive at a financial consensus to improve and maintain Town roads and other infrastructure. (Measure K will be a fine down payment, but more needs to be done.) 4. Encourage two bustling shopping centers that attract both small businesses and branches of larger corporations by: a. supporting existing tenants, 5. Forage a resolution to the dog park controversy by installing a fence that meets the needs of the dogs and also provides security for other users of the park. 6. Strengthen the bond between The Town and St. Mary' College to enhance the cultural offerings within the Town while providing the students with all the amenities a college town can offer enlisting the Chamber of Commerce as a vehicle to strengthen that relationship. 7. See the Hacienda de las Flores achieve its full potential as a community center that is also sought after by neighboring communities for weddings, meetings, retreats and such. |
