NOVEMBER 6, 2012 GENERAL ELECTION
Candidate Name: DOUG TEETER
Office: County Supervisor 5th Supervisor District
Age: 44 Occupation: Small Business Owner

In the June primary I made a promise to listen to the citizens of Butte County. To work towards that commitment, I personally knocked on over a thousand doors. Key issues I heard regarding our County government were balanced budgets, fire and vital services, streamline government, water rights and resource protection.

I will work vigorously to provide balanced budgets that will not sacrifice the funding for fire, sheriff/police and other vital services. I believe deficit spending and fire station brownouts have no place in our County.

I will provide leadership that pursues continual streamlining of our government. I believe our Supervisors must take the lead to reduce bureaucracy that is limiting our economic growth and threatening our freedoms.

I will represent your rights to our water. I believe the State must compensate us for water that originates within our County. I will advocate for policies that protect our agricultural lands and supply of adequate, safe, clean water.

The Butte County Farm Bureau, Chico Enterprise-Record, and a diverse group of local business owners, professionals and citizens have endorsed my campaign. Call on me anytime, 872-1852.

Please vote for Doug Teeter as your 5th District County Supervisor.
