Qualification statement:

I am running for the governing board of the Feather River Recreation Park District, because I feel I can bring responsibility and fiscal accountability to the board. I attended catholic and public schools in El Paso, Texas. I worked in Public Affairs and Civil Rights with the United States Department of Agriculture-Mendocino National Forest for 24 years.

I am married and have four grown children and have lived in California 30 years. I am very aware of the need to operate within a budget with proper distribution of resources and fiscal responsibility. I believe the time has come to tighten our belts and look closely at current and future budgets.

I am an active member of the Altar Society, Catholic Ladies Relief Society and serve as Secretary on Our Lady of Guadalupe Society at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

I am looking forward to serving you as Director on the Feather River Recreation Park District. Thank you for your vote, I sincerely appreciate it.
