Candidate for
Director; Feather River Recreation and Park District; Unexpired Short Term

I offer you my six years experience on the Feather River Recreation and Park District Board, two years as Chairperson and six years on the finance committee as one who brings balance to the Board. I have spent many years as a teacher, program evaluator, educational researcher, and consultant.

I have utmost respect for what a park district can do using all its resources for everyone in the district. I will continue to promote professionalism, ethics, and common sense among everyone involved with the district. I am accessible and respond to constituents concerns, phone calls, and kudos.

My husband and I have one son. I am a 42 year district participant, rate payer, and supporter. My time is spent on parks and recreation work, volunteering, pet care, rock hounding, reading and gardening. We adopt/rescue large and small animals.

I believe we can dramatically increase revenue by effectively utilizing the tax allocations, grants, park resources, and our forty thousand square foot, multipurpose building.
