I am honored to be considered as a candidate for the Governing Board of the Thermalito Union School District (TUSD.) During my seven year tenure as a counselor in TUSD, I grew to greatly admire the school administration, teachers, staff, and student community. I feel strongly about supporting their continued growth and success. As a member of the Board, I will make every attempt to foster this growth and success via putting students first, and being a voice for district employees.

I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work. I am currently employed full time as a Clinical Supervisor for a private non-profit counseling agency, which provides school-based and home-based counseling services to at-risk youth. I am also an Adjunct Faculty at CSU, Chico in the Social Work department. I live in Thermalito with my two young children and feel excited about this opportunity to give back to our community.
