Our school district, like every government agency, is facing difficult financial times. I will continue to keep our schools on strong financial ground. I understand the budget and will continue to monitor it closely. It must reflect priorities that will provide quality education and support for our students.

We must continue to look to the future. I am committed to providing education for the children of our community that will prepare them for their future. We must make sure they master traditional basic skills as well as the new basic skills in technology and critical thinking needed to be successful. We must meet the needs of both students planning to go to college and those planning to go directly into the workforce. We need to respect and value all of our children. I will continue to work to assure our community has first class schools that prepare our children for their future.

I want our school board to work toward having the finest schools for our children. Second best is not acceptable. If you give me your vote, I will continue to work tirelessly on your behalf and for public education in our community.
