Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Retired Deputy Sheriff
  • Hello, I am Mark A. Turnquist, I have been serving you the citizens of Alameda County for the past 23 years, as a Deputy Sheriff.
  • I am now looking to serve you as a County Supervisor. I have seen a lot of things over the past several years that could be improved.
  • I am A Veteran of the United States Navy, I served onboard the USS Wabash AOR-5. I served from July of 1981 through May 0f 1985.
  • I was a self employed Business owner in Billings, Montana. I had Turnquist Excavating from June of 1985-April Of 1988 when I returned to the East Bay.
  • I grew up in Miles City, Montana. I left there in 1981 when I joined the Navy. I was a wrestling coach in Billings for the Three years I was there .
  • I was a 1968 and 1979 AAU National Champion Wrestler
