I believe as a community we have the power and the responsibility to create a healthy, sustainable environment that protects the quality of life for all our residents. I think nurturing "localism" is the key to addressing our environmental and economic crises, as well as issues of health and happiness.

My goal as a member of city council is to work with our creative and committed residents, community organizations and dedicated city staff to promote a resilient network of neighborhoods that are more supportive and more self-sufficient.

I will represent the diverse needs of our residents and be accessible and accountable. Together we can foster individual, community and global health and be a model for cities nationwide.
