Anthony Pegram is a licensed civil engineer with an MBA degree and more than forty years of experience delivering design and construction for capital projects. His experience with BART has prepared him to assume the responsibilities and challenges associated with setting policy for a multi-faceted special district. Pegram wants BART to evaluate the potential for transit-oriented development opportunities at the stations where such projects are feasible. He is a proponent of the BART to Livermore Extension and is currently responsible for contract administration efforts for the East Contra Costa Extension from Pittsburg to Antioch and the Oakland International Airport Connector.

Anthony has been married to his wife Philippia for 42 years and has two adult children.
