Top Priorities if Elected
  • Outreach: with out effective outreach, tenant protections & rent control are unused, leaving tenants abused. Ex: Recent Student Tenement Fires.
  • Earthquake Safety, inspecting Berkeley's 100+ Soft Story buildings for safety, and require them all to be brought to current earthquake safety code.
  • We successfully lobbied to require all 16+ unit rental complexes provide Municipal Recycling & Food Waste Composting to tenants. Now we must enforce.
