Chris Crow has lived in San Leandro for most of his life. He grew up in a multi-ethnic family, with a Puerto Rican father, a white mom and a Korean-American step-dad. He attended Jefferson Elementary and Bancroft Middle schools and graduated from San Leandro High School and Chabot Community College. He became a risk management professional, and after a stint working in Los Angeles, he returned to the city he loves and fully dedicated himself to make it better.
Chris currently coaches public speaking /debate at San Leandro High School, and advises the Interact Service Clubs at San Leandro and Arroyo High Schools. He is the co-founder of Team Craig, an organization that raises funds for cancer research and college scholarships, and also volunteers with Relay for Life. A former Planning Commissioner and Leadership San Leandro graduate, Chris sits on the Board of the San Leandro Education and Sport Foundations and is the New Generations Chairperson of the San Leandro Rotary Club.
