The introduction of my candidacy to the voters

I am excited to announce the start of our campaign for election to the California State Assembly in the newly drawn 53rd District. It will be an honor to listen to your concerns and ideas and take them back to Sacramento. With the recent changes adopted by the Citizen's Redistricting Commission, I am looking forward to representing many of you in the new 53rd Assembly District. The new 53rd district encompasses much of the current 46th District. You can find a map of the new district at:

I have never held political office. Like many of you, I am just tired of a government that does not represent my family's values and I am tired of "Representatives" who have nothing but political track records raising our taxes and destroying our business climate. With a low budget and a grassroots campaign, I hope to earn your support. Let me be clear on this, I am for legal immigration. I am not for providing benefits derived from tax dollars for illegal aliens / undocumented people.

While in the Assembly, I will fight for: Fiscal Responsibility in Sacramento, Balanced State Budgets, Reversing the Trend of Business and Jobs leaving the state, Fair taxes for everyone, and reducing the time it takes for the death sentence to be enforced

I will oppose: the California "DREAM" Act, which would give away your taxpayer dollars to fund college tuition for illegal immigrants, the multi-billion dollar bullet train, drivers licenses for illegal aliens and higher taxes. It is time to be fiscally responsible, California has almost the highest taxes in the nation.

This may make me unpopular with many inside the Sacramento establishment. They are uncomfortable with the idea of uncompromising and principled representation seeping into Sacramento. I will not be there to win a popularity contest, I will be there to represent YOU!
