Political Philosophy for Dustin M. Steiner
Candidate for |
||||
|
When I was a child, my father gave me a bumper sticker that said "Government Philosophy: If It Ain't Broke, Fix It Till It Is." Sacramento is broken. Our home state is in trouble. Every day our businesses, schools and quality of life are under attack by special interests and overzealous legislators. We can do better.
I have decided to run for the State Assembly because I believe we can make a difference. As the father of a young child, I want my daughter to grow up in a place that puts children first in the classroom, a place that rewards businesses for creating jobs and growing our economy. It is our duty to leave the world a better place than how we found it. Our leaders in Sacramento have forgotten that.
Ronald Reagan once said "Government is not the solution to our problem, government IS the problem." That message resonates today more clearly than ever before.
I believe we can reverse that trend and make California the Golden State once again. As your next Assemblyman, I will fight new taxes and sweetheart union deals. I will work closely with the innovators and business leaders in our community to reduce barriers and incentivize growth. And, I will look for ways to allow our world class university system and cutting edge technology sector to prosper without onerous regulation. Thank you for your interest in my campaign. I would be honored to have your support! |
