Political Philosophy for Michele Martinez
Candidate for |

|
I started running for public office because I wanted to make a real difference in the lives of people. I grew up in a very bad neighborhood without parents but was fortunate enough to have a great grandmother who looked out for me. My involvement with the boys and girls club of Santa Ana provided a positive environment away from the gangs, poverty and hopelessness I saw in my neighborhood. With the guidance and support of caring teachers and mentors who instilled in me the values of hard work and self sacrifice, I graduated from College and became a successful productive member of society. The opportunities I have been given have inspired me to give back to the community and do what ever I can to make it better. This is the reason I ran for Santa Ana city council and devote a great deal of my time to helping organizations that help residents. I have made it my priority to improve the neighborhoods that you and I both live in. Like many of you, I am concerned about the amount of jobs available, the state of our public schools, public health and over all public safety. These are my top concerns and priorities because they lead directly to the quality of life that we are able to enjoy. That's why I promise to support policies that will work toward encouraging business development, improving education, and providing safe and healthy neighborhoods for our families. That is why I am endorsed by Santa Ana Police Officers Association, the Santa Ana Police Management Association, the Santa Ana Firemen's Benevolent Association and Orange County COPS. I know that these days it is difficult to have faith in government making the right choices that will benefit everyday residents, but I can promise you that if I have your support and am elected to the State Assembly you can count on me to be your voice in Sacramento and make sure that our community receives what it deserves, a better life for all of us. I would like to invite you to learn more about me and my vision for our community by visiting my website at http://www.michelecmartinez.com. I will gladly answer any questions you may have by contacting me directly at (714) 380-4339 or by emailing me at michelemartinez2012@gmail.com. I humbly ask for your support and vote on June 5th. Sincerely, Michele C. Martinez |
