Member of the State Assembly; District 59

For the last fifteen (15) years I am the Founder and CEO to the Jubilee Concert Series a 501 (c) 3 charity non profit organization at http://www.jubileeconcert.org aiding the community in food, housing, clothing, sick, and prison outreaches. Jubilee also operates on the east and west coasts, producing special designated events and fund raisers to aid those in need. Our articles of incorporation states, "This corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation... the specific purpose of this corporation is to use its monies and property and the income therefrom to accomplish the following: Provide musical concerts to the public which promote a sense of community and uplifting spritual values. Funds raised from musical concerts and other activities will be used to assist indigent and needy persons in the community." We have produced programs showcasing the Platters, Oscar Brown, Jr., A Holiday Turkey with Mabel King and Marla Gibbs, Younger Than Spring Time Musical - a Youth Production, provided entertainment to Habitat for Humanity's 100th Home Built Ceremony - Century Plaza Hotel, and most recently produced tribute to one of the professors at Southwest College by the students and community.
