My Jobs & Climate Security/Resiliency PlanBy Veronica JacobiCandidate for County Supervisor; Sonoma County; Supervisorial District 5 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I have a plan to Jumpstart Our Economy and make it more resilient, while also improving our Climate Security and Adaptation. I would love your input on suggesting additions to the plan. There is a lot of information about my plan and also on a wide variety of topics at http://www.VeronicaJacobi.com One aspect of my plan includes Sonoma Clean Power and considering joining with Marin County: I hope we in Sonoma County continue moving forward on Sonoma Clean Power. As your Supervisor I will move as rapidly as possible to create affordable, higher self sufficiency, and environmentally superior power choices. By learning from the example of San Francisco, Marin and other areas and perhaps partner with Marin Clean Power/Energy in choosing a higher percentage of renewable power and encouraging ongoing increases more rapidly than we may be able to accomplish independently. San Francisco was scheduled to have 40% renewable sources for their electricity by the year 2017. You can learn more at the Sonoma County website and the County of Marin's website about Clean Power. Please visit http://www.VeronicaJacobi.com for additional information on my Jobs & Climate Security Plan and many additional topics. Also visit Facebook: "Veronica Jacobi" & "Friends of Veronica Jacobi" and "Our Green Challenge". Thank you! |
