Economic Development: We need to attract good, solid jobs for our community to erode the high unemployment. Find ways for the city to earn revenue, end the red tape to make business development and creation easier. We also need to the financial quagmire we are currently in.

Public Safety: We need to ensure that Stockton is able to attract and retain top police talent. We also must work with neighborhoods on community policing mechanisms and bring the best practices of other cities to Stockton in terms of curbing crime.

Create Opportunities for Youth: 1/3 of the city is under 18, and many see no opportunities for them to maximize their potential. I want to take programs I've created to scale and create a pathway from cradle to career for Stockton's youth. High Tech and Big Business continually point to the lack of skilled and qualified workforce as a deterrent to setting up shop in Stockton and until we make our youth a priority, we will continue to be left behind.
