Candidate for
Member, Republican Party County Central Committee; County of San Diego; State Assembly District 77

I am running for re-election to the Republican Central Committee for the 77th Assembly District in San Diego County.

I am a conservative Republican and would like to retake our party and guide it to achieving the goals of lower taxes, less obtrusive government, equal opportunity for all and promoting personal and family responsibility.

I am the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Apricus Biosciences, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company. I am a 21 year lawyer and have spent over 10 years of that time in-house with life science companies and venture capital funds.

I am the first in my family to go to college and my mother was a dress factory worker and my father was a coal miner. I went to Cornell to play baseball and graduated from there summa cum laude, was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford and graduated from the Yale Law School. I also worked for a judge on the US Federal Circuit Court for the Fifth Circuit.

I also am an Adjunct Professor of Law at Thomas Jefferson Law School and serve on the Advisory Council to the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences at the Claremont Colleges I also serve as the Vice President, Programs ,for the Association of Corporate Counsel.

I have been married to my wife Rachel for 25 years, I have two daughters Harriet (19) and Emma (16) and have an English Springer Spaniel Molly and an American shorthair kitten named Chloe.

I am a member of the Lincoln Club of San Diego, the Eagle Forum and am very active in Republican politics.
