Occupation: Business Owner/Father
Age: 44
Education and Qualifications:

I have consistently attended council meetings to support Mayor Reed's reforms and to oppose raising sales and property taxes. My top priority is to reverse the erosion of our services. Runaway costs must be controlled to restore services to our residents including opening our libraries and community centers full time, and opening the never opened new Police Substation as well as increasing police officers and firefighters.

As a father with a SJSU Bachelors in Business, entrepreneur, business owner, and 37-year resident of San Jose, I will help get San Jose's finances in order. Attracting business to San Jose, making government more efficient and balancing the budget are ongoing issues. With 17 years experience as a financial advisor, and long-time devotion to our community, I am prepared to help solve these issues.

My years of community involvement, listening to the concerns of residents and experience as chairman of both San Jose's Small Business Development Commission and Santa Clara County's Human Relations Commission have given me a deeper understanding of the challenges facing San Jose and a greater motivation to fix them. The San Jose Silicon Valley ChamberPAC endorses me. Vote Johnny Khamis for City Council. http://www.johnnykhamis.org, or call 390-5544.
