Denelle's Monday night outreach meetings for District 10 residents.

Within two weeks of taking office, I will schedule the meetings throughout the district at churches, schools and other venues so that I bring the meetings to our neighborhoods. I will post the schedule on line; share the schedule with community groups/commissions and in the D-10 newsletter. D-10 COAM is an example of my belief in being accessible to constituents on a regular basis.

Background Far too often, the public is not aware--ahead of time--about the issues that come before the council. More often than not, the public finds out about issues after the council has made their final decisions. These agenda items can include spending large sums of taxpayer dollars on a variety of items, changing/altering ordinances, making land use and transportation decisions, and implementing policies that affect our community and its resident's lives.
