I graduated from Whittier College in 1996 with a degree in Political Science. While at Whittier, I held a part-time job and played NCAA baseball. Upon graduating, I attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, graduating in 1999. While at Loyola, I was a member of the school's Byrne Trial Advocacy program, winning both local and national awards for excellence in trial advocacy. I was a member of the Dean's List and received the Dean's Service Award for my positive representation of the school.

After graduating in May of 1999, I took and passed the bar exam on the first attempt. I began working as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. In 2000, I was hired by Los Angeles County as a Deputy District Attorney. While a Los Angeles County prosecutor, I handled misdemeanor and felony cases.

In 2003, my wife and I were hired as Riverside County prosecutors by District Attorney Grover Trask. In 2008, I was promoted to Supervising Deputy District Attorney. I currently supervise the prosecution of all child molestation, sexual assault, and child physical abuse, and unregistered sex offender cases for western Riverside County.

As a prosecutor, I have dedicated my entire professional career representing the People of the State of California in a wide variety of cases. I have prosecuted child molesters, rapists, gang members, white collar criminals, and murders, including death penalty cases.

In addition to working as a prosecutor I spent over 10 years as an adjunct faculty member at Loyola Law School, training 2nd and 3rd year law students in trial advocacy. I have also volunteered my time as a high school mock trial coach, as a mentor for elementary school children, and as a youth athletics coach.

My wife and I currently live in Riverside with our 6 year old son, and 1 1/2 year old daughter. I thank you for your interest in my campaign, and ask you for your vote on June 5th.
