I am seeking a position on the OC GOP Central Committee because I want to unify our party, voter outreach, and present a unified platform. I am tired of the infighting and accusations about who is "fiscal conservative." The party has no platform. The terms "fiscal conservative" and "limited government" have been used by many Republicans, but no one has defined it. There is a belief that supporting low taxes and less regulations is fiscal conservatism. That is too simplistic. My fiscal conservative and limited government philosophy is based on two fundamental principles: the role of government is to protect its citizens and maintain order, and create and preserve opportunities and wealth. These principles provide a guideline in formulating sound public policy.
