Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Contra Costa; Supervisorial District 2

I have lived in Danville for 27 years. I became active in the San Ramon Valley School District when my children attended. I was on the Steering Committee for Legislative issues for many years, chairing School Bond campaigns at Stone Valley Middle School and Montair Elementary School. I was also PTA President and Fundraising Chair at Montair.

I was active in the Danville-Alamo chapter of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) and its VP of Public Affairs. I advocated for women's rights meeting with our California state elected officials.

Currently, I am the VP of the San Ramon Valley Democratic Club engaging progressive speakers for our members, and updating the club 's web site, http://www.srvdems.org.

I am also an Alternate Member of the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County. Our main goal is to help on campaigns to elect Democratic candidates at the local, state and federal level. To do that, one needs a campaign headquarters and I help on fundraising projects to raise money to pay for several offices in our huge county. I hope you will in the next six months come to our campaign offices to help. I also have served on the Endorsement Committee, interviewing more than 100 candidates for local elections.
