Candidate for
Commissioner; Township of Upper Moreland; Ward 6

I strongly believe in bi-partisan, consensus-building governance. I want to encourage working as a community toward goals that are defined by the inputs of the citizens. I, also, have a vision for Upper Moreland and for our downtown/Business Community that will require hard work and strong negotiation abilities, and I know that I can bring both to the position of Commissioner for Ward 6.

I will support the development of a storm-water management program with funded projects that serve the needs of residents suffering from issues of long-term neglect of water issues and infrastructure.

I will not agree to raise taxes, but I will work with those who are responsible to create our annual budget and manage our Township finances to eliminate waste while maintaining our level of services. I believe in shared costs,and will lead in the area of municipal contracts to bring about an equitable balance of benefits for workers and fairness to all citizens.

I will invite all citizens to participate in municipal issues and to give service to their community.
