Re-Elect Steve Moore for Princeton School Board Steve's Story Hello, I have been on the Princeton's Board the last four years. I am proud of the progress Princeton has made ... there is more much more to do to secure a sustainable path for Princeton as we navigate through these dynamic times. About Steve: My family lives in Evendale, where my children, Michael (19) and Catherine (16) have attended Princeton schools. My wife, Gail, is a long time volunteer. I'm a retired R&D Director from P&G, trained as a Chemical Engineer. In my years at P&G I was fortunate enough to be in leadership positions where I led large business programs. My work taught me how to diagnose difficult situations, and to work with partners to develop proper goals, strategies and action plans to achieve meaningful results. At Princeton, we have had many challenges and dilemmas...and we are tackling them head on--with success. Many thought Princeton could never be rated Excellent ... and we did, and we are improving and reforming further to meet students 21st Century skill needs. Four years ago, Princeton had its business tax revenues cut dramatically (Tangible Personal Property Tax) and our costs to educate were way too high. We have worked hard to reduce costs ... by over $2300 per student. We have worked hard to install best in class modern business systems--for example self-insurance, modern transportation software and energy management systems that have saved millions. We have developed a great leadership team with Dr. Gary Pack as our Superintendent, and Mr. Jim Rowan our Chief Financial Officer. Our Teachers, Principals, and Staff are inspired, have delivered great results and are working hard on continued improvement. We have much work to get Princeton on a strong sustainable path. I am exited about the possibilities. I hope you give me the opportunity to serve. Vote for Moore on November on November 8th |
