? 1. What services do you believe should be considered basic and essential for the Village?

Answer from Daryl L. Zornes:

It is my strong belief that the following basic and essential services are necessary to maintain our Village's infrastructure:
  • Professional Safety Services - Police, Fire and EMS/Paramedic services.
  • Service Department - Streets, Parks, Village right-of-ways, Village owned buildings, and Cemetary maintenance.
  • Waste Collection Services.
  • Planning, Zoning and Developement.

? 2. How would you balance the Village Budget?

Answer from Daryl L. Zornes:

Continue to monitor revenue and expenditure trends, and make budget adjustments as needed.

? 3. What actions will you take to support clean air?

Answer from Daryl L. Zornes:

I voted to oppose the proposed limestone mining operation on the outskirts of Newtown, due to the caustic health problems associated with limestone dust.
