1. What services do you believe should be considered basic and essential for the Village?
|
Answer from Linda C. Bolton:
Basic services for the Village of Cleves residents should be police protection, fire and EMT services and street maintenance and snow removal. In our case, the Village is able to also offer a fully operational building department for the convenience of their residents, their own Water Works utility, and a beautiful Park that is currently operated primarily on usage fees.

2. How would you balance the Village Budget?
|
Answer from Linda C. Bolton:
As the Clerk/Treasurer for the Village, I am mostly responsible to be sure the Mayor and elected Council Members have up-to-date financial information to assist them in making their spending decisions. I assist and make recommendations, but the final decision on how to spend the funds are theirs to make. I constantly monitor the various funds to help assure the Village stays on budget and lives within their means.

3. What actions will you take to support clean air?
|
Answer from Linda C. Bolton:
I am an advid recycler and have always been concerned about the environment. In my current position, I have no control over environmental issues.
