Financial Stability "« Support a five-year budget that is sustainable and based on available revenue "« Realign pension benefits "« Sustainability in our employee contracts and benefit packages "« Collaborate with county, state, federal and private agencies to accomplish critical tasks "« Consolidation of departments to eliminate bureaucratic waste

Economic Development and Revitalization "« Offer enticements that attract businesses to Vallejo "« Short and long term planning that attract new business and quality development "« Advocated for improved customer service and business-friendly policies "« Market Vallejo as a city in transition that boasts a vibrant waterfront and a community that is as diverse as it is strong in spirit "« Attract businesses that can make use of our port and rail facilities on Mare Island and South Vallejo for the light shipping industry "« Encourage the development of Mare Island with quality businesses

Our Educational System "« Partner and collaborate with our school district to improve the quality of education for our children - our future leaders "« Co-op and share expenses with infrastructure maintenance "« Broaden our thinking to collaborate with the school district in long-range strategies that will enhance educational qualities "« Long term planning to provide an excellent school district that attracts families, businesses, housing and tax dollars

Public Safety "« Explore alternatives to efficiently use the current staffing levels "« Augment sworn positions with civilian staff to handle non-emergency calls "« Implement a public safety reserve program to augment staff during shortages "« Utilize reservists to assist in non-critical duties
