	Candidates Answer Questions on the Issues Board Member; Orchard School District

How would you determine that the schools are using federal, state and local funds wisely and fairly and how would you report your findings to the community? Answer from Diana Nazari: By being present in all meeting and examine documents to make sure that the funds are used for education and students. I am planning to have a newsletter each month to bring the information to all the parents and people involved in the school and in the district. 2. Are the schools offering instruction appropriate to the diverse educational abilities of all the students? Answer from Diana Nazari: They are to some extend. Our School is in the need of GATE Program to support special needs of higher level students. We have not been able to implement Gate Program in our school due to financial difficulties. The level of education in the class room does not meet every students strength, therefore, some student struggle and some get board. 3. Where do you want the District to be five years from now? What steps should the District take to get there? Answer from Diana Nazari: I want the District to achieve higher number in PI from 777 to 900 in five years. That can be achieved with parent involvement in the school, Gate program, fund raising to support extracurricular education.
