All school sites must engage in early assessment of advanced placement students, English Language Learner students, and under performing students via technology and the RIT program.
In an effort to ensure that all students learn to their potential, it is important that all school sites rely on the RIT program (Response to instruction and intervention). This will ensure that all students are able to meet and/or exeed the California State standards, as well as standards set by the federal government. An integral part of the RIT program is that students who require intervention can receive an individual learning plan so that they are monitored on an ongoing basis and be brought up to speed as quickly as possible.
