My husband, David Clarke, and I live in Prunedale with our dogs, cat, goat, and chickens. I was a latch key kid and graduated from Tokay High School in Lodi, CA. I am the product of a good public school system and benefitted from community after-school programs.

I earned my Associates Degree from South Lake Tahoe Community College and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2000 with a bachelor's of science in Fruit Science. I am now the Vice President of Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance for Steinbeck Country Produce. I was raised by working class parents who instilled in me a strong work ethic and honesty.

I am running for North Monterey County School Board because I want to make a difference in our community. I want our students to be set up for success, not failure, upon graduation.

Give me a chance to build on my commitment and dedication to children by casting your vote for Jennifer Skidgel-Clarke, candidate for North Monterey County School Board.
