I will do my best to make sure that all of our kids are prepared for a job, career or college when they graduate from high school.

I will be tenacious in financial responsibility and accountability to taxpayers and see that money is spent in responsible ways such as developing existing programs within CUSD and engaging all students in these programs. I will work to grow and support programs already in existence within the school district.

Teachers have a huge challenge to teach to all types of learners at all different learning stages in the classroom today. I believe it's important to give the teachers support they need and keep the class sizes at reasonable and manageable sizes, giving students better access to the curriculum. The drop in STAR test scores from the elementary school levels to the middle and high school levels is of concern and needs to be addressed.

I will continue the district's work towards educating our students on the dangers of drugs and alcohol and eradicating bullying.
