Meet Camie Dear Friends, Your vote for me, "Camie" Poulos, for the West Covina School Board would be greatly appreciated. I have lived in West Covina my whole life and this is where I have my roots. I believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to me and I thank you for the opportunity to serve on the school board for the past twelve years. I, myself, received my education in the West Covina Unified School District and graduated from Edgewood High School. My son, Will, also was a student in the West Covina schools and graduated from West Covina High School. I have a niece who attends Hollencrest Middle School and a nephew who is a senior at West Covina High School. I believe that they and their fellow students deserve the best education we can provide. I graduated from the USC Affiliated LEND Program, received a CSBA Masters in Governance, as well as received my BA in Sociology from University of La Verne. I am employed by the CPA firm, Travis & Brown. I believe that education is vital and that all students should have the foundation and the opportunity to pursue their academic goals. I believe that family is an integral part of our community. I am married to Christopher, a local attorney, and we raised our son, Will, here in West Covina. I believe that parents and family should have the opportunity to assume an active role in their student's education. Click here to learn more about how to do that.
