Cruz continues her family's tradition of service running as a candidate for Baldwin Park City Council where her experience and leadership in the areas of budgeting, auditing and contract negotiations will serve the citizens of Baldwin Park.

Cruz and the Baca family have a long, distinguished history of contributing to Baldwin Park. Born and raised in Baldwin Park, Cruz Graduated Baldwin Park High School with Honors, learning to work hard, respect people, and give back to her community.
