Candidate for
Township Commissioner; Township of Springfield; Ward 5; Democratic Party

As a Commissioner, Ray will strive to increase transparency in the way Springfield Township does business and spends taxpayer dollars through sponsoring and advocating for initiatives to make all Township contracts and monthly budget vs. actual reports available for public inspection on the Township website. In addition, Ray intends to work towards securing a Township Community Center with indoor recreational space that would be available for use by the Township athletic associations and residents to ease overcrowding and unavailability at school district facilities. Finally, because Commissioners should be more accessible to constituents, in person, Ray will hold monthly Town Hall style meetings to listen to Ward constituent issues.
