During my 1st term as City Controller, the Controller's Office:

Created Open Book Pittsburgh, a website that allows citizens to search and view all City contracts and campaign contributions and expenses of all candidates running for office in the City of Pittsburgh.

Released Pittsburgh's first Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). This is a user-friendly version of the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) that provides a clearer picture of Pittsburgh's financial condition and provides information on City demographics and government.

Has completed the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) by May 1st, exceeding the mandate of the City of Pittsburgh's Home Rule Charter.

Has improved the Fiscal and Performance Audit functions of the City Controller's Office.

Michael Lamb has been instrumental in the creation of CONNECT, The Congress of Neighboring Communities. CONNECT is an organization that provides a vehicle to coordinate the activities of the City of Pittsburgh and the 35 municipalities that share its border.

Released "Critical Condition," A report that details the funding shortages that face Emergency Management Services across Allegheny County. The report also recommends a solution to these shortages in funding.
