California and America needs strong banks, a strong military, strong corporations, and strong local businesses. But America deserves proper legislative regulation of the sectors that control the economy.Vince believes financial interests hijacked our government. He sees how the majority of our legislators have either ignored conflicts of interest, or been more directly influenced. He seeks to change our American government that has shown itself to be a government for the corporation, into a government for the people. He's looking forward to seeing the Citizens United decision overruled. He is a dedicated environmentalist committed to reducing and phasing out dependence upon oil and nuclear energy. But he also knows Montana and North Dakota contain eight times more oil than Saudi Arabia and that the oil cartel is indirectly funding misguided environmentalists to prevent drilling for American oil. He believes that Publicly Funded Elections are necessary to stop California, Democracy and America in general from continuing on the road to hell. He's not afraid call things the way he sees them, break up the big banks into more manageable pieces, instill trust in the financial marketplace, reduce the deficit and restore California's economy by providing relief to taxpayers without cutting education or damaging transportation and trade. There doesn't appear to be anyone else in office who will do that today. Yet he is chagrined by knowing what to do, while many people continue to place their trust in the same old tunnel-vision political-machine politicians. That's why Vince is so committed. That's why he is obligated. |
