Candidate for
Council Member; City of Huntington Park

Dear Voter,

My name is Irving Pacheco and I am running for Huntington Park city council. With high unemployment rate, challenges in the school system, and our city budget at risk, I have the qualifications to serve you as your council member, improving the quality of life for our great city in these areas.

Having worked in public service for many years, including Sacramento and Washington D.C., I have the experience to fight for fair compensation for our city, create more jobs, and empower our youth to continue in higher education. I have worked alongside some of our great community leaders, like the late Honorable Marco Antonio Firebaugh, protecting civil liberties and the environment. Currently, I have been working with Assemblymember Ted Lieu to protect families from foreclosures and consumer fraud.

And like you, I have learned what sacrifice means. I immigrated to this country 30 years ago with my mother who instilled in me the importance of hard work and giving back to my community. Because of her inspiration, I completed college receiving a Masters in Business Administration.

I have the passion and experience for public service and would like to continue by representing you. I ask for your vote, Thank you.
