Andrew Kim was born on February 15, 1960 in Inchon, Korea. At the young age of fourteen Andrew immigrated to the United States in hopes of achieving the "American Dream." Arriving with practically nothing, aside from the hope of a bright and prosperous future, Andrew enrolled in South Gate High School, where he graduated with honors. He then set his sights on Claremont McKenna College, where he obtained his B.A. in Political Science. Immediately after graduation, Andrew attended Pepperdine School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor Degree.

Since obtaining his degree and the passing of the California State Bar exam, Andrew has lived here in Los Angeles, District 10, were he practices Litigation, Immigration, and Civil Rights Law at his law firm; known as USA Kim Law Firm. Throughout the years Andrew has helped hundreds of individuals from all backgrounds and nationalities with legal immigration to the United States. He is best known as being a civil rights attorney. Not only does he fight for the individual civil rights, he has been working to protect the rights of senior citizens in subsidized senior housing accommodations.

Andrew's passion to help his fellow man does not end stop with his professional career. He is also a devout Christian and attends a small local community church known as, "Calvary Church." In striving to be the best at everything he does, and believing that in order to please our lord we must encompass our lives with his word and teachings, has motivated him to complete his Master's degree in theology.

Having accomplished much throughout his life, Andrew has come to realize that there is one more goal: to give back to this great nation that has given him so much which is why he has chosen to run for public office. Andrew and his team have put together a strong campaign with one goal in mind: to win the upcoming election and become your representative as Los Angeles's next District 10 Councilmember.
