Check out two of our issues: Transparency & Accountability for Our Taxpaying Dollars/Economic Development That WorksTransparency and Accountablility for our Taxpaying Dollars: On the City's webpage show accountability: Job Descriptions, which were implemented upon request from me to Council. Email addresses, which were implemented with request from me to Council. On the City's webpage show accountability: Responsibilities and bullet points for accomplishments made for the betterment of our community. This includes top Management Staff and City Council. City's Organizational Chart List: Titles, pay, severance pay, and benefits. Consultants under what they were to accomplish, how much they were paid, and what they did actually accomplish. Laws and ordinances posted for us the citizens and translation in other languages, of such. Connecting our Asian American languages with our City Council Meetings and invite possible radio stations, and outside newspapers. Get more Community input through: Town Hall Meetings with volunteer translators, as well. Economic Development That Works: Attracting quality retailers/restaurants and retaining quality businesses. Creating new jobs and opportunities. Continue working with business owners to aesthetically improve their storefronts. Continue to support the ideas of our small town environment but strive to be a progressive town in an ever changing world. |
