With our commitment to effective public safety, quality community development and innovative resident services, Bellflower is poised for continued growth and success. In Bellflower, we are experiencing one of the most dynamic transformations in our City's 53 year history. With new development, new businesses, and a renewed sense of pride and accomplishment, we are poised for continued growth and success. Today, Bellflower ranks as Los Angeles County's 25th largest city, boasting a diverse population of more than 77,000 residents served by nearly 3,000 businesses. Driven by a proud past, our promising future centers on an unyielding commitment to provide effective public safety, quality community development and innovative resident services. We are a community growing stronger. We operate within our means, exercising a disciplined approach to fiscal conservatism. Working in tandem with the Chamber, we continue to attract new businesses to town. The ongoing improvements to the historic downtown, an important commercial district, are transforming the area into a prime destination for prospective businesses. Additionally, we work hard to help existing merchants grow their operations through grant and loan programs, workshops and public awareness. We are a community growing healthier. Quality schools in Bellflower, operated by the Bellflower Unified School District, serve as the foundation for a successful tomorrow. The City's award-winning Parks and Recreation programs improve the lives of more than one million residents and visitors every year. New housing developments ensure that growing families can enjoy a sense of pride in community as they build healthy neighborhoods. We are a community growing together. In Bellflower, our people have always been our most valued resource. We will continue to look to our residents to help guide our progress. By keeping our community informed, by soliciting input about projects and services of all types, and by responding to the changing needs of our City with confidence and commitment, Bellflower will enjoy a prosperous future. Come grow with us. |
