Darren knows that we must invest in clean energy technology and green jobs. The potential for new jobs is as abundant as the sunshine around us and Darren is the leader who will bring the high paying jobs of the future to our district. As a small business owner, Darren also understands government too often gets in the way and he will cut through the red tape and put our district back to work.

California schools rank 46th in the nation in per pupil spending. If we are serious about turning our economy around, we need representatives who are serious about preparing our students for the jobs of tomorrow. Darren has four children in our public schools and knows firsthand that parents, teachers, and our elected officials must work together to ensure our students are getting the education they need to succeed.
