I was elected as an Upper Darby Councilman in 1971. I was one of the first Democrats to ever be elected there. I was re-elected as the only Democrat in 1975 to 1979 and served as a Republican on Upper Darby Council until 1989. I ran as a Republican candidate in 1989 for State Representative. Many of the provisions included in my proposals were included in the General Assembly's Costing Out study that has been enacted by the State.
