Oxnard can do better and it's time for new leadershipOxnard is at a crossroads and faces serious challenges. Our financial, economic, human and natural resources are threatened. I have the qualifications, experience, energy, enthusiasm and vision to be a good steward of Oxnard's future. We all want a prosperous and healthy future where our families can be safe and productive and enjoy the fruits of our labors. I will work with you to achieve this. I have focused on critical issues of social and environmental justice and sustainable development. I was one of the leaders in the defeat of the Liquefied Natural Gas project off the coast of Oxnard. My career is entirely in public service, working and living in Oxnard since 1978, first as a legal aid attorney, then as director of the Channel Counties Legal Services Association for 16 years, then coordinator of the Superior Court's Oxnard Self Help Center for 9 years, and now as an attorney in private practice here in Oxnard. I pledge to make the best decisions for the good of all of residents and the future generations who will live with the consequences of those decisions. I look forward to serving you and Oxnard. I ask for your vote. |
