The 47th Congressional District deserves to have the leadership of a strong advocate for upholding U.S. Immigration laws at a time when border security is paramount and strengthening America requires respecting existing immigration policiesAs U.S. Congressional Representative of the 47th District my duty will be to serve as a clear voice on Immigration. In order to end the continuous unfair treatment of immigrants, the 47th Congressional District deserves to have the leadership of a strong advocate for upholding U.S. Immigration laws at a time when border security is paramount. Strengthening America requires respecting existing immigration policies. We must work hand in hand with other countries to ensure that their citizens receive the utmost assistance in their land so that they won't have a need to leave their country in search of a better future. The following is what I support: a. I support lawful Immigration, b. I support the suspension of foreign aid to nations that fail to enforce immigration policies leading to unlawful entry of individuals into the U.S. (The foreign aid to these nations should be measured/regulated. Just like Contractors are measured/regulated when they are awarded a government contracts. c. I support extradition of human smugglers for aiding and abetting unlawful entry of individuals into the U.S., d. I support extradition of law enforcement officers involved in aiding and abetting unlawful entry of individuals into the U.S., e. I support enactment of mandatory IRS fines and penalties for employers doing business while hiring individuals in the U.S. without verifying their status in the U.S., f. I support immediate deportation of individuals who break the rules/laws of this nation while in the U.S. unlawfully. I support providing Temporary Visas/Permits for immigrants already residing in the United States, are employed and who are not felons. I believe they should have an opportunity to contribute to the economy and have an opportunity to reside here while upholding the Laws of this Great Nation. After a 3 year temporary status, if still employed, they should have an opportunity to apply for Permanent Residency. I support legislation to provide people an opportunity to have a better future for themselves and their families. I also support securing our Borders Immediately By having strict enforcement laws, citizens from other countries will understand that we will not allow illegal entrance and penalize employers who provide jobs without proper work permits. We must enforce these laws or else, we will face a deeper economic depression, in which none of us can recover. |
