Monday, September 13, 2010 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Napa, California + Dear Friend, I must share some exciting news. Polls all over this area are showing startling and wonderful information! 57% said the economy, unemployment, and jobs were the most important issues facing our country. Why is this good news? Because these are exactly the messages I have been discussing for the past 18 months. We need real solutions for difficult times. My PLAN for fixing California is solid and do-able. It has the opposition trembling. In other polls all over the Bay Area--the results show Fiscal Conservatives are winning. In race after race, conservatives are ahead. There are few races putting the liberals in front. This is GREAT news for the "Doris Gentry Campaign!" Watch this video of a speech I made a few days ago--in the video I describe two solutions to the CA Budget crisis. Check this out for yourself! Doris Gentry on YouTube + How to FIX the CA Budget Crisis! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT_fB0oHYyc This good news bodes well for my race. It shows that my speeches and writings have been 100% on target since the day I began. Jobs, spending, and education are my focus--this is your focus, too. How great it is to be on the same page and on the same team! One way you can help the team right now is to go to my website: http://www.dorisgentry.com and in the upper right corner, type in your email and zip code to subscribe to my newsletter. In this way, you will stay informed of what is happening, where I am, and what is going on in this district. In just a few short weeks, this will all be over. November 2nd is just around the corner. As fall approaches, it's the time of the season when the agricultural world is getting land ready for winter. It's also time for the greatest need of this election cycle. I need your help. In order to win this election, I need to buy MORE yard signs. These signs do two things: they build my name ID and also build my visible base of support. Right now--we have another 500 people wanting yard signs. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to order more. In this race, we really need about 10,000 yard signs to make just a dent--25,000 would be more realistic. Truly, we need your help. Buying an even larger quantity would drive the price down further. We are very frugal in the campaign headquarters. We can stretch a dollar a long way--but we do need the dollars to stretch. Would you please help raise my name ID and strengthen my lead by donating $25, $50, $100, or even $250 today? https://www.fundraisingbynet.net/fbn/contribute.asp?guidRegistration=575B565F Together we can rebuild California. Together we can fix this state. You and I working together--that is how we will do this. Join me. Help me. Support me--we are going to win! November is coming, and I am ready to be your State Assembly Representative! Thanks so very much for your trust in me. Sincerely, Doris Gentry P.S. A comment from the Gentry Campaign Finance Chairmen Brian Kelly and Ron Birtcher: "We want you to know how great it is to have good news as we enter the fall season and the final weeks of this campaign, but we can't celebrate just yet. Help us raise $5,000 in the next week to increase Doris' name ID and insure a win for Doris Gentry. When Gentry wins, we all win! Together we CAN fix California!"
