Candidate for
Board Member; Cotati/Rohnert Park Unified School District

I have lived in Rohnert Park for approximately 36 years. I attended John Reed School, Rohnert Park Junior High and graduated from Rancho Cotate High School. I attended Santa Rosa Junior College for 2 years and received my Associate of Science degree in Administration of Justice. I then transferred to California State University, Sacramento and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. I am a 28-year member of the Operating Engineers Local Union #3. I am currently employed as an Apprenticeship Coordinator for the Operating Engineers. I have worked for the Local Union for the past 19 years and have also held the position from Dispatcher, Business Agent and District Representative. I have served on the Cotati/Rohnert Park USD board of trustees for a total of 12 years. I have been President of the board twice. I have been married to my wife Anna for 32 years. My children and nieces attended and graduated from the schools in this District. My nieces children are currently attending schools here. I have a grandson who will be attending one of our schools when he enters Kindergarten.
