Candidate for
Council Member; City of Sebastopol

I was born and raised in Fort Bragg, CA the daughter of a truck driver and a homemaker. I have three younger brothers. I am the 5th generation in my family to have lived in Fort Bragg/Mendocino County.

I first moved to Sebastopol in 1973 when I started Sonoma State University.

I attended College of the Redwoods, Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University, putting myself through school by working and student loans.

I worked at Community Hospital/Sutter Medical Center for 18 years as an admissions clerk, 14 of those years in the Emergency Room. I went back to college as a re-entry student in 1998 and finished my BA and then entered the Organization Development Masters Program, graduating in 2000.

My son and step children were educated in Sebastopol and all graduated from Analy High School, and now my step grandchildren are at Pinecrest and Brookhaven. We love the Sebastopol School system and the dedicated teachers who have taught our children.
