My passion for community involvement began in the 1970's under the guidance of Mayor, Helen Putnam, volunteering for local nonprofits.
We must improve our economic climate without harming the environment. We can do this by attracting new jobs, creating more shopping opportunities, which helps keep our sales tax dollars in Petaluma, and supporting infill development to fight urban sprawl.

Once Petaluma is financially stable, it's imperative that we create, improve, continue to fund new/existing local parks, cross-town connectors to relieve traffic, and public safety, improve conditions of streets and maintain the level of public works. Strengthening senior programs and sports/activities for youth and adults is of equal priority.
